LOVE BIRDS is a short documentary studying one of the last working class pigeon racing communities in London and exploring the problems that the sport and community face today. The film positions the sport as a counterpoint to the modern world we live in, showing the importance of communities and connecting people to one another. Pigeon racing has been a largely overlooked sport, the film aims to change peoples opinions of the sport, it celebrates the fascinating lives and communities involved with the sport and the legacy which should be left behind.
